Morgan heads the rest on River Trent

CRAIG Morgan of Hollingworth Lake Rowing Club won the Nottingham Scullers Head of the River race on the Trent last Saturday.
He became the first sculler from the club to win this event and it set him up nicely for the first Great Britain senior trial of the winter which will be held at Boston over 5,000 metres of the River Witham.
Greg Lawton finished tenth at Nottingham and won the junior section, while Paul Clay won the Veteran D section.
Clay was recently successful in the World Masters Regatta in Strathclyde. He won a Veteran D Gold Medal.
David Sykes notched up a win for the Club at Northwich. He claimed the Senior 4 honours.
Lucy and Ruth Walczak have been invited to a Great Britain junior team training camp and will next month attend trials for next year's World Junior Championships along with Greg Lawton, Phillip Maxwell and Ben Stewart.
