NEIL Dawes kept his nerve and his form to take the captain's final at Pike Fold.
The 13-handicapper's first round 69 was three back of Danny Wilcock, but the following day he went one better, while Wilcock struggled to a 73. It was still good enough for him to clinch second place, two clear of Lenny O'Hagan.
Paul Rocca was back among the prizes at Hopwood when a 65 gave him the Cleworth Cup ahead of John Hind and Colin Whittaker, who both shot 67s.
Thirty nine points were enough to give Sue Broadbent the Jubilee Cup at Whittaker Ladies. Hannah Kernick trailed four points back in second place.
Daniel Moody was the inaugural winner of the John Duffy Trophy at Tunshill Juniors, coming back from four down at the 10th to pip Tom Hicklin 2 & 1.
