Norden travel to Church - Boro meet trophy holders

CENTRAL Lancashire League champions Norden will be praying for success in the first round of the Inter-League Club Challenge Trophy.

They will travel to Church on Saturday 14 May and come up against former Middleton professional Ruvin Peiris who is back with the Accrington club for a second season.

Littleborough will entertain trophy holders East Lancs who will have a new pro next summer following their release of South African Quinton Friend.

Rochdale have a home tie against Todmorden, while Milnrow will be at home to Bacup who are looking for a new professional.

Middleton will host Lowerhouse, but Heywood have a bye into the second round.

The second round will be played on Monday 30 May, the third round on Saturday 18 June, semi-finals on Saturday 16 July, and final on Monday 29 August. The reserve date for the final is Saturday 3 September.
