CASTLETON Gabriels slipped out of the North West Counties Challenge Cup, beaten 2-1 at Great Harwood.

Gabs dominated a one-sided first half, but Harwood scored from their only two efforts on goal.

Fraser Hatton netted for Gabs, who laid siege to the Harwood goal, but they couldn't make the pressure count.

Chances were rare in an even second half.

Gabs travel to play Winsford United today, kick-off 3pm.
