TWO old school pals are well and truly submerging themselves in their sport - all in the name of world championship glory.
Eighteen-year-olds Adam Morris, from Summit, and Mark Dawson, from Wardle, are heading off to New Zealand as part of the Great Britain under 19 Octopush squad in March.
Dawson has been involved in the sport - played on the bottom of a pool with a heavy puck and short sticks - for a while, but Morris only took it up 14 months ago after his friend came back from the last world tournament.
The pair met at Stansfield Hall Primary in Littleborough and have remained in touch ever since. They both play for the Rochdale club which trains at Oulder Hill Leisure Centre.
