Big freeze beats Hornets

HORNETS' friendly game against Chorley was postponed yesterday (Sunday).

Chorley's Victory Park pitch was frozen and an inspection made it clear that play was impossible.

  • HORNETS Nest Egg hold their second meeting at the Baum on Wednesday next, January 8, at 8pm. Hornets' coach Martin Hall has been invited to come along for a question and answer session about the forthcoming season. There will be a raffle with Dave Watson's number six shirt as the star prize.

New members are especially welcome, those who attended the inaugural meeting are asked to bring a friend. Members who made a pledge are asked to bring along a cheque or their banking details to the meeting.
