Hollingworth juniors in world championship

TWO crews from Hollingworth Lake Sailing Club will be in the British team bound for the world championships, in Tasmania, next month.
Stuart Bithell, aged 16, of Newhey, who will be crewed by Holly Scott, aged 13, of Birmingham, and Jon McGovern, aged 16, of Littleborough, who will be crewed by Nicola Brook, aged 13, of Holmfirth, will be among the top British Mirror sailors for the championships in Hobart.
The junior representatives were chosen for the trip following a country-wide series of results.
The British team, which will include 11 boats, six of them sailed by adults, will be supported during the regatta by Hollingworth Lake's Matt McGovern who is an experienced Mirror class coach.
Jon McGovern and Nicola Brook were runners-up in the recent Mirror European Championships held in Holland. Stuart Bithell and Holly Scott finished fourth in those championships.
