Hornets celebrate another successful season

HORNETS held their end of season dinner at the Albany Hotel, Heywood, on Friday night.

The players, directors and coaching staff got together to celebrate another successful season in the Northern Ford Premiership.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the coach's player of the season award to Paul Smith. He received a Rolex watch donated by Prestons the Jewellers, Yorkshire Street, Rochdale.

Smith, along with Hornets' captain Matt Calland, was also selected for the Northern Ford Premiership all-star team after an impressive season with the club.
