Dale clash in doubt again

The Spotland pitch was still frozen solid underneath a blanket of compacted snow earlier today (Thursday), so the signs are ominous that another postponement will follow the 3pm inspection.

If Saturday's game is called off it will be the third home game in a row to fall victim to the weather.

  • Meanwhile, Rochdale's postponed New Year's Day home fixture against Carlisle has been rearranged. It will now take place on Tuesday 29 January at 7.45pm.
