No defence for Dale's poor showing

Two first-half goals by on-loan Danish striker Bo Henriksen helped to keep Kidderminster's play-off push on course as they ran out 4-1 winners at Aggborough.
Patrick McCourt was given his full-team debut on the right wing while on-loan Darren Dunning played on the left wing, and Oliver in the middle. The subs bench was missing both Matt Doughty and Graeme Atkinson, who were replaced by Simon Coleman and Paul Ware. Lee McEvilly was also on the bench, and he impressed when coming on for Clive Platt in the second half.
But despite the changes, it was at the back that Rochdale failed to function, with an apparent lack of communication among the back-four giving the Harriers the impetus with which to pile forward.
Henriksen opened the scoring when he slotted home after just four minutes following up a charged-down shot by Ritchie Appleby. But Rochdale equalised after 38 minutes when Clive Platt volleyed a David Dunning cross back across goal for Michael Oliver to head home from eight yards.
The momentum swung again, a minute before half-time, when an unsighted Steve Banks was deceived by another Henriksen effort which trickled over the line. From there Kidderminster never looked back, and after 51 minutes Danny Williams crossed for Harriers' skipper Mark Blake to head firmly past Banks.
Rochdale pushed forward, but it left them vulnerable on the break and Dean Bennett completed the rout when he collected a through-ball from Williams and raced from the halfway line to net his sixth goal in the last six games.
