Referees aim to train new whistle-blowers
20/ 2/2001
Using this award the Association will try to get people from all areas of the community interested in refereeing. The Association will provide free training and help to get people started in local leagues. It will also provide ongoing help and advice.
The first step is to attend a free training course, and it is hoped to start a course in Rochdale very soon. A further course will commence in August. These courses are open to all over the age of 14.
If you have played soccer, it is never too late to start refereeing.
