Boro lads outdo Ormskirk to win prestigious final

LITTLEBOROUGH under 16s emerged victorious from their Blacksticks Blue Vase final against Ormskirk, at Manchester Rugby Union Club last Saturday.

The game kicked off in wintry conditions, with Littleborough playing into a strong wind.

   I just wanted to congratulate all the lads for the big win last sunday. An absoloutly freezing day was well worth standing about for. A long awaited victory for the boro lads. Also well done to the coaches for their hard work, it eventually paid off !!! Fantastic game.
