Keighley Cougars 36 Rochdale Hornets 35

HORNETS shrugged off the lacklustre performance of last weekend against Hunslet with a battling display against Keighley Cougars, at Cougar Park on Sunday.

The Cougars had lost only once in the league this season and needed the unerring boot of stand off Danny Jones to see them home - he kicked eight out of eight. They now sit at the top of the National League Two table.

HORNETS will need to be on their mettle if they are to return from Cougar Park tomorrow with the spoils.
