Rossendale return for Dale

ROCHDALE return from their warm weather training camp in Marbella tonight.
Keith Hill’s team have been undergoing a series of challenges on the training ground and in the gymnasium out in Spain as the Dale boss fine tunes his squad for the forthcoming season.
The team took on newly promoted Peterborough at the weekend with several new faces making their first appearance in Rochdale colours.
New signings Clark Keltie and Ciaran Toner both started in midfield, alongside Gary Jones, while Jon Shaw, Scott Wiseman and Simon Heslop were among eight second-half substitutes.
Results are of little importance at this stage, but for the record, Dale lost 3-1, Chris Dagnall – another substitute – netting for Hill’s men via the penalty spot.
The squad were due to play another friendly – against Charlton Athletic – before returning home.
Dale are back in action this weekend when they take on Rossendale United in the first of their pre-season matches on home soil.
