AWAY day specialists Rochdale returned to winning ways with a thumping victory at struggling Mansfield.
Skipper Gary Jones marked his record making 346th appearance for the club when he fired home from 10 yards after good work by Callum Higginbotham.
In swirling winds Dale completely overran their struggling hosts in the second half and doubled their lead on 48 minutes when Adam Le Fondre turned home an Adam Rundle cross.
Jones made it three on 56 minutes when he fired home from the edge of the box and Rene Howe completed the rout on 70 minutes.
He ran on to a Le Fondre flick and calmly rounded the home keeper before rolling the ball into the net to give Dale an 11th away win of the season.
Mansfield parted company with boss Billy Dearden after the game.
