Kelly leads home the Lions

EIGHTEEN Rochdale Harriers turned out for this year’s Littleborough Lions 5K charity road race.

The course took its usual painful route, heading up a slight incline from Littleborough towards Rochdale, left and up the steep Smithy Bridge Road, then alongside Hollingworth Lake and back down to the finish.

Strong Boro team heads to Ormskirk

After last week’s defeat at Ormskirk, Boro take on Southport in the first round of the EDF Senior Vase today. It is at least 20 years since Boro travelled to Southport, so they will be going into fairly unknown territory.
