SOME overseas amateurs have not yet registered to play in the CLL this summer,.

But what we do know after Friday's meeting is that West Indian Javon Searles, with Heywood last season, will be at Crompton, and that Australian Royce Blight will be back with Heywood after a break of one season

Milnrow have signed David Bebb who was with Norden, and Lancashire second-teamer Vishal Trapathi who was with Lancashire League club Burnley last summer.

The Ladyhouse club want to register Stephen John as their overseas amateur. John has applied to the league to be registered as an amateur after quiting first-class cricket. But league officials want to look into this more before making a decision.

Craig Duxbury, professional with Prestwich last season, will be allowed to play as an amateur for Monton and Weaste.

It could be a little confusing at Hare Hill. Littleborough have signed Syed Abbas Ali as professional and will have Syed Imran Ali as overseas amateur.

Norden will have Aussie Zane Arthur as overseas amateur.

But Paul Carroll will not be at Woodhouse Lane this year, and record-breaking batsman Simon North is off to play for Hartshead Moor.
