Rory aims for the top

A BOXER aiming for the top is seeking a bit of financial help in his quest for honours.
Rory Todd, 23, recently moved from the Hamer club to Boarshaw where he feels he will have more opportunities to achieve his goal.
Rory, pictured, said: "I am not going to knock the Hamer club in any way, because they were very good to me, but at Boarshaw I can train and shadow box with champions and potential champions who should bring out the best in me, plus I have known coach Ben Lancaster for a long time."
Todd is still amateur and wants to stay amateur until he has had a crack at an ABA title. Once that is achieved he hopes to become a professional and move up through the ranks.
He added: "Boxing is my passion, and I want to make a good go of it. But I am 23 now, so I have to get things moving."
