GOALKEEPER Sam Russell agreed terms on a permanent deal at Rochdale this week and Keith Hill hopes to follow up his signing by securing the services of Marcus Holness and Lee McEvilly.Oldham defender Holness and striker McEvilly are currently on loan at the club and, like former Darlington stopper Russell, have played important roles in Dale’s recent run of fine form.“We’ve managed to tie up a deal for Sam Russell and that’s a very important piece of business and a credit to the club. He’s been superb for us and it means with James Spencer we have strength in that department.“We are now looking to tie up permanent deals for Lee McEvilly and Marcus Holness and we are in communication with their clubs.
