Boys (12) accused of male rape

TWO 12-YEAR-OLD boys have been charged with raping a severely disabled man.

The pair, who cannot be identified because of their age, appeared at Rochdale Magistrates Court on Wednesday in connection with a series of alleged sex attacks on a man with severe learning difficulties, who is also deaf.

The alleged victim informed his social worker who then alerted police.

The alleged incidents are said to have taken place on 5 May, 11 June and 28 August last year in south Rochdale.

One of the boys faces two counts of rape and two of committing a serious sexual offence against a man who was unable to refuse because of his mental disorder. The other faces one count of rape and two of committing a serious sexual assault.

They will appear in court again on 28 September when they will be committed for trial at Crown Court. They have been given unconditional bail.

Isn't there some stocks on Church Stile. Bring back public humiliation for these sort of low life. Leave them in the stocks for 24 hours and let people have a good laugh at their expense. I should imagine they thought they were being clever doing what they did. Society is too soft on these scum, everyone has a right to go out no matter how disabled they are.

This is absolutly disgusting, these two sick twisted individuals should be named and shamed despite there age. If they can commit such a horrific crime on someone that is mentaly and physicaly disabled they should be punished in a way as an adult would.

people should not be judged before they have been proven innocent or guilty. these boys have not been found guilty and should not be treated as such. if this man is so disabled what is he doing wandering the streets on his own so before you write in to be a lynch mob get to know the facts they have only been accused .this is a ridiculous accusation and will probably ruin the lives of 2 twelve year old boys which i hope the state can live with

i myself have a 12year old and if my son did what these two have done i would disown him without a doubt these two are disgusting individuals and should be locked up if aldults are at risk how are we supposed to keep our own innosent children safe

It's about time the law changed and anyone committing such a hideous crime should be named, regardless of age. If they're old enough to commit such a crime, they're old enough to take severe punishment and face up to their actions publically. The law should stop being so soft towards criminals and start dealing with them accordingly!
