A MAN has died after a collision on the M62 motorway at Milnrow.

Police were called to the westbound carriageway at junction 21 shortly after 10.30am on Monday, following a report of a crash. Officers attended the scene and found that a Vauxhall Vectra had collided with a lorry.

Nicholas Pothecary, aged 50, was taken to hospital and died shortly afterwards.

Nobody else was injured.

Police inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the collision are ongoing.
