CELEBRATE Valentine’s day with a difference this year – go Greek.

Littleborough Coach House is the venue for a Greek celebration on 14 February hosted by Stuart and Georgina Demetriades.

The couple, who run Demetris cafe, are organising this special evening to raise money for Springhill Hospice.

Although still in the planning stages, it’s sure to be a sellout so early booking is advised.

Stuart said: "We’ve been doing Greek nights on a regular basis for the past 18 months and they are very popular. We’re always booked up six weeks in advance – the evenings are always a lot of fun."

Included are a 12-course Greek Cypriot mezo, bouzoki music and plate smashing, plus lots of Greek dancing.

Stuart said: "My father is a Greek Cypriot, so I was brought up between the two cultures. Everything is very authentic."

Tickets are £24.95, with a proportion going to the hospice. There will also be a raffle and other fund-raising attractions on the night, all for the benefit of Springhill.

To book your table, telephone Stuart on 378481.
