IF YOU’VE ever wanted to experience a parachute jump here’s your chance.

Springhill Hospice is looking for adventurous volunteers to make a fund-raising parachute jump – and if you raise enough in sponsorship the experience will be free.

The hospice has teamed up with international events specialists Skyline and has 20 places reserved with the famous Black Knights parachute team.

There are three types of jumps available: an accelerated freefall, where you can experience the thrill of skydiving solo from up to 12,000 feet; a tandem skydive from 10,000 feet attached to a professional instructor; or a static line jump, which is performed solo from up to 3,000 feet.

The venue is Lancaster Airfield on Saturday 28 March and no experience is necessary as all training is provided. If you raise £360 upwards yourself – depending on the jump you choose – you will receive it for free.

For your place on this thrill of a lifetime experience, contact Springhill Hospice fund-raising office on 649920 or email ian.jenkins@springhillhospice.nhs.uk for a full information pack.
