Pupils take lead role in charity trek

PUPILS at Bamford Primary School raised a fantastic £674 for our appeal with a sponsored dog walk.
The children decided to focus their fund-raising on Springhill following the death of two parents with children at the school, one of whom died in the hospice.
On the day of the event they had to brave a torrential downpour but showed great determination to keep walking round the course – some even completing an impressive 22 laps.
