WARDLE AND WEST LITTLEBOROUGH: Andy Kelly (Lib Dem)

I AM the Lib Dem Candidate for the Wardle and West Littleborough Ward in the forthcoming elections. The Liberal Democrats are the party that most closely match my personal beliefs and policies. I believe that the Liberal Democrats are the party that make the most difference and impact in Rochdale. I believe that I bring enthusiasm, confidence and commitment to the role and look forward to giving the voters of Wardle and West Littleborough an alternative voice.

As a senior youth and community worker I believe that we need to work hard for the young people of the Borough. That is why I support the extra investment that the Lib Dem Council putting into the youth service. If I get elected, this will be one of my priorities. I also support the investment that is being put into plans for a new arts centre. Arts and Heritage should be accessible for everyone and I will be working hard to deliver key projects like the arts centre and build on the good work of existing projects like Touchstones.

I am formally a parent governor at Moorhouse Primary, Vice-Chair of Whitworth Amateur Musical and Dramatic Society and a member British Oral History Society. In my spare time I enjoy theatre and music and have dabbled in radio presenting and stand up comedy!

I am passionate about our Town and if elected will work to improve the lives of the people of the Pennines. I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible over the next few weeks and working alongside the team including our MP Paul Rowen.
