IT'S time for a change in Littleborough, time to end the Lib Dem monopoly of the area.

The Lib Dem councillors in Littleborough Lakeside have become complacent over their years of unchallenged dominance of this diverse ward,it's time for some new blood.

I was born and live in Littleborough, an area that pays some of the highest Council Tax in the whole of Rochdale Borough but gets little in return.

If I am elected I will support the Conservatives proposal to give a Council Tax rebate to everyone 60 or over.People on fixed incomes are finding it difficult to manage in this time of fuel and food inflation and high Council tax increases.

onservatives always propose smaller Council Tax increases than the other two parties, without cutting essential services.

It has been proved that youth nuisance and crime decline if an area becomes cleaner,so I will also support the Conservative manifesto pledge to introduce an extra street sweeper to the Littleborough and Lakeside ward.

Everone promises to have more "bobbies on the beat",I will work night and day to make this a reality,the elderly and vulnerable must be able to feel safe in their homes and going about their lawful business.

Nationally and locally people are joining the Conservatives,Labour are in decline and the Lib Dems are spectators who have no influence where it counts.

It's time for a change in Littleborough and Lakeside,it's time for the Conservatives.
