18/ 3/2008

TWO men have been charged with dangerous driving following a crash which left three people seriously injured.

Lee Unwin, aged 36, of Oriel Close, Chadderton, and Joel Wharmby, aged 23, of Victoria Street, Littleborough, will appear before Rochdale Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

They have been charged in connection with a crash which took place in New Barn Lane, Ashfield Valley, on 29 September last year involving a Renault Clio, a Noble sports car and Suzuki motorbike.

The Clio collided with a pedestrian barrier and three rear passengers were thrown from the car.

Two are making a slow recovery, while the third requires round the clock care.
