Woss up, Agyness...

LITTLEBOROUGH-born supermodel Agyness Deyn revealed how she learned to catwalk in her pyjamas and high heels on the BBC chat show Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.

And today when the 24-year-old struts down the catwalks of New York and Milan she is thinking ‘what am I going to have for my tea and what am I going to watch on the telly.’

Miss Deyn, Model of the Year 2007 and winner of the Elle Style Award, bowled over the show’s host with her down-to-earth northern charm.

He told her: "I didn’t know you would be so common or so northern."

Miss Deyn told viewers that she found success with the help of her fashion designer friend, Henry Holland, who joined her in the studio.

The pair were bargain hunting in London’s Kentish Town when she was spotted by an agency scout.

The former music and drama student had previously worked in an Italian restaurant and a chip shop.

Asked about winning the Elle Style Award for best model Miss Deyn, whose heroes while growing up were supermodels Christy Turlington and Stella Tennant, said: "I think it is nice to get an award like that.

"From being a kid you look up to models and it is proper mental to be in that position."
