Man charged with sex assaults

A 65-YEAR-old man has been charged with a series of sexual assaults in Rochdale dating back to the 1980s.
Frank Roberts of Westgate Avenue, Blackley, is due to appear before Rochdale Magistrates' Court tomorrow, (Friday).
He is facing four charges of indecently assaulting two girls and a boy between 1983 and 2000. All the complainants are now adults.
Roberts is also charged with making threats to kill a further two children.
Though Roberts lives in Manchester, the offences he is charged with are alleged to have taken place in Rochdale.
He is currently remanded in custody.
