Agyness claims Model of the Year crown

LITTLEBOROUGH-born supermodel Agyness Deyn has been crowned Model of the Year 2007 at a glittering awards ceremony.
The former chip-shop worker, who is fast becoming an icon as the face of Armani, Burberry, Paul Smith, Galliano and Vivienne Westwood, was up against Lily Cole and Irina Lazareanu, the face of Kate Moss’ Top Shop clothing range, at the British Fashion Awards on Tuesday night.
The awards, held in London, celebrates emerging and established talent within the British fashion industry and was judged by a committee of top fashion media, retailers and influencers.
