Meeting ended years of bitterness

THE two families torn apart by the murder of Lesley Molseed were united in forgiveness at an emotional meeting.
Her father, Fred Anderson, had hurled abuse at Charlotte Kiszko in the moments after Stefan was convicted.
But in February 1992, following the acquittal hearing, the two were sat side by side on the sofa at her Kings Road home.
Mr Anderson said: “I wasn’t sure whether she would accept me in her home. I said some horrible things about Charlotte at the trial for which I cannot apologise enough.”
But Charlotte offered the hand of forgiveness, saying: “I never blamed the family for what happened to Stefan. I have got my son back but that little girl can never be replaced.”
Lesley’s brother, Fred junior, sister Julie Crabbe and her husband, Peter, were also there.
Mrs Crabbe said she never held bad feelings towards Mrs Kiszko and had wanted to put her arms around her at the trial.
The two families were united in their hope that the real killer would soon be brought to justice.
