GCSE results 2006 - Rochdale
25/ 8/2006
ALL the GCSE results made available to us are here ...
Oh it seems to be bad form them Oulder Hill lot not getting there results posted. Could it be the staff at Oulder can't be bothered and take a similar view when it comes to teaching. I imagine they will be counting down the days to half term and their golden pension already. Keep up the good work.

Yet another year of easy examinations and increased numbers passing GCSEs and A-levels.
The problem is we are not only kidding ourselves we are damaging society and the economy.
Lots of students, that should have failed, or not bothered, now move on to higher education. They cannot afford the fees, so they run up debts rather than get normal employment.
At the same time we have millions of jobs unfilled by our own young adults. No plumbers, few builders and who will collect the rubbish off the streets? So in come the Eastern Europeans, hard working and ready to fill the gap. It will all end in tears.
We need to significantly increase the difficulty of these examinations and push most kids back to work learning real trades, rather than getting daft qualifications and ending up in call centres.

Good show, spiffing.
Where's Oulder Hill, have they something to hide? They seem a bit tardy and slow to get the results up.
