Work is needed to halt town's exodus
by Helen Johnson2/ 9/2008
MORE people have moved away from Rochdale than any other part of Greater Manchester in the past two years.
The population of Rochdale borough, including Heywood and Middleton, in the middle of 2007 was 206,000. That was made up of 43,600 children aged up to 15, 127,200 of working age and 35,200 pensioners.

With stories like "28 stitches for bottle attack victim!" is there any wonder that people are leaving? Given the chance, I'd be off and all!

Do these so called officials and wannabees actually understamd what has happened to our town over the past 30 years. Its a now a wreck with little prospects. Who in their right minds would want to come here.
Thanks for nowt. Thanks for letting it decline year after year. Thanks for letting us all down
