Most other places have official council-owned traveller camps where people can pitch up without a fuss. Rochdale should do the same and worry about the real scourge on our streets instead.

To get it in perspective how much has been spent dealing with Rochdale citizens in the town centre on a Saturday night during the same period? Next, provide a few official Gypsy/Traveller site and charge rent like other councils have started doing.

Whay not put wheel clamps on the knackers caravans, to be removed when the site is cleaned up?
