My own personal philosophy now is to turn a blind eye unless my family is troubled, then I would react with extreme force and have no mercy.

Of course if one is to act in such a manner you would suffer the consequences, but if it was my family I would accept this.

That's what we are up against today.

however, it was thought by the judge and jury that Sophie was killed because she was singled out for looking different. They were called "Moshers" by the lads who killed her "Let's bang the moshers", they were singled out because of how they were dressed.    equally as sadistic as the attackers are the drinkers ,diners at the local pub & kebab shop who failed John Owen and allowed these 6 cowards to carry out their senseless attack SHAME ON ALL OF YOU imagine if John had been one of YOUR sons,brothers or friend...times like this Im happy I live the other side of the world and no longer in Rochdale what a disgrace also just read an article about a young woman and her boyfriend bashed in a Bacup park she was murdered and the boyfriend seriously injured ...what the hell is wrong with you?

   Troy Kirkholt (where else) - no doubt you will know that "GMP" need evidence as to who did this or should they knock on every door in your area ! why blame the cops, its typical of underclasses

   Kirsty and Troy are right. This is a case of premeditated attempted murder, with malice aforethought (ie robbery). All the stops should be pulled out to catch and take the incarcerated these potential murderers before they kill successfully next time.

   Words fail me - and GMP you failed this poor citizen - pull all the stops and track the dogs down who did this - no mercy for animals - Rochdale is the best town in the north west and we need to feel safe 24/7 - bring back high profile police and also council park patrols.

   If the animals responsible for unprovoked attacks like this just keep getting a slap on the wrist, the police and government should not be surprised when the friends and family of victims decide to get their own justice. I don't care if its "only children" who have been the attacker, which is the case in most situations these days. IF THEY CAN COMMIT SUCH A HENIOUS CRIME, THEN THEY SHOULD SERVE AN APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF TIME!!!

   It is an unfortunate fact but attacks like this one are getting all the more common these days, This is the price we pay for living in such a PC world when children are made basically untouchable they grow into thugs/yobs etc.

My worry is thay even if they find who did this to John they will just get a slap on the wrist at worst, The main reason for this is that he is still alive.

If it was up to me I would do to them as they did to John as that would teach them a lesson they would remember for the rest of their life & it would not waste our money giving them a holiday inside, but we all know in this world that would never happen as they have too many rights.

It really does make me sick to see things like this happen, But as long as the law is the law it will.

   Hanging is to quick.

John's attack and horrific injuries are the talk of the town. I was in my local earlier and people were discussing how sick and twisted these individuals are.

Somebody must know who did this to him.

These thugs go home to someone , you must have an idea if your son/boyfreind was involved.

To keep your mouth shut makes you as bad as them.

One day they will kill someone, and if anyone knows or suspects who did this, may that be on your conscious when they do murder some innocent person, and make no mistake about it they will .
