NUT - aka nutters union - teachers get paid well have good pay and safe pension - knuckle down and work hard was the advice given by my teachers - didnt make me want to cry and go on strike.

I'm a teacher and thankfully not in the out-of-date militant throwback NUT. Its not the coal / dole issues of the 1970's - there is no widespread support for strike action within teaching except for a few old militant agitators in union office. Pay is good and conditions are good - the only problem is continuing deterioration in behaviour due to chav culture and poor parenting. Keep making a show of yourselves NUT - you arnt representative of teachers, just a small rebellious politically correct minority !
