Two years ago my children who have all been to Heywood Community and they started with thumbprints for registration and for them to pay for their lunch they also was the first in the country to use swipe cards but a lot of students were forgetting theirs and the thumbprint was brought in (at least they can't forget their thumbs)!!!!!
