This is an example of Rochdale Council incompetance. How short sighted is it to close this waste centre used by council tax paying businesses. Why do we pay our council tax if we now have to drive outside the Borough? Instead of using some common sense and sorting this problem out, the council spin doctors issued a press release a few weeks ago making the closure sound like some sort of improvement. So now Rochdale is going to face an epidemic of illegal flytipping. How will pay for that? US !!!
