Carcraft may still stay in town

CAR hypermarket Carcraft have made a last-ditch attempt to retain their links with Rochdale.

Bosses will meet with the Rochdale Development Agency (RDA) in the new year to try and secure a spot at Kingsway Business Park.

The Rochdale company, located on Nixon Street, has threatened to relocate out of the borough unless a space opens up.

   Carcraft should stay in Rochdale. It is Rochdale borne and employs locally most businesses coming to Kingsway will not have the same dedication as Carcraft.

   i think that some thing should be done to keep car craft in rochdale as we lost one of our biggest retailers left to move to manchester but now only have little to do with rochdale so car craft should be allowed to have a site on kingsway for retail as this should boost rochdale higher

   Whu do the RDA not look to develop the old TBA site in Spotland? It would be a fine secure spot for Carcraft and other businesses.
