Objectors' fears over quarry plan

IMPORTANT omissions have been made in a controversial plan for Ding Quarry.

That is the claim from two objectors to an application from DP Williams (Holdings) Ltd, which is asking the council to state the conditions it would have to adhere to if it mined the Lanehead site.

   it would seem the officers in the planning department do not understand that the people of rochdale do not want this quarry to open the objections have not changed over the last 10 years but have got stronger so come on do the job you are paid for and look after the interest and wishes of the people of rochdale and keep this quarry closed for good
