The problem is he could not drive in control. Who passed him and gave him a licence?

He should have an automatic band for a period then retested if he has hurt someone. If he punched them in the face more would happen!!

I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY HOW SORRY I FEEL FOR THE TWO VICTIMS OF THIS TERRIBLE ACCIDENT. ACCORDING TO RUMMERS THE DRIVER IS GETTING AWAY WITH THIS SCOTT FREE. IF THIS IS TRUE THEN NO WONDER PEOPLE TAKE THE LAW INTO THIER OWN HANDS. TWO YOUNG WOMEN ARE IN HOSPITAL, A DOG IS DEAD WHILT SOME 19YEAR OLD CAR THEIF IS WALKING FREE. WHERE IS THE JUSTICE?

The problem is BMW design their cars for German motorways that have no speed limit. Speeds of 110 MPH+ are common. Surely new drivers should not be let loose in high powered cars?

Don't be daft Mr Kelly. My wife and her friend were involved in a similar incident two years ago. The car involved was a Vauxhall Corsa which was probably 1200cc. Unfortunate though this incident is, it's the driver and their lack of control to blame, not the car. I cannot think of a single car on sale today that doesn't reach the national speed limit.

My best wishes go to the families of the pedestrians involved.

Without wishing to prejudice the Police investigation. What the hell is a 19 year old doing in a BMW? Surely young divers shuld be limited to 1000cc engines or less until they are 25?
