Taxi driver saved my life
28/ 8/2007
A QUICK-thinking taxi driver saved the life of a father-of-two whose night on the town almost ended in tragedy.
Instead of taking Geoff Whitworth home, the cabbie rushed him to Rochdale Infirmary’s A and E department.
What a nice, caring man this taxi driver must be. I hope they can find him and show their appreciation. I look forward to a follow-up on this story.

Do you think for one minute that this taxi driver thought about race relations when he saved this man and took him to hospital. He did what any man/women black/white/purple or even alien would have done. Should I now choose which taxi I get in before I become ill.
I'm right again, Rochdale

I agree with you, Anglosaxon. Let's hope that the taxi driver can be found and thanked properly.

its good to see some positive news for our Asian community instead of the negative Islamaphobic nonsense that the papers are full of.
There are good and bad in all people remember that and our future is bright.
