THE e-commerce team at full service marketing agency, the Stuart Lawrence Group, has launched a brand new website for the Manchester Aquatics Centre, home of the 2002 Commonwealth Games swimming, synchronised swimming and diving events.

Stuart Lawrence have designed the site, found at www.manchesteraquaticscentre.com, not only to reflect the modern, stylised design of the building, but also to appeal to the general public who will use the site as a valuable information source.

The white space and pale blue copy boxes make the site clean and easy to read, while the dramatic photography demonstrates the fantastic facilities on offer at the Centre.

Helen Snowdon, marketing manager for Serco Leisure who manage the Manchester Aquatics Centre, said: ''Stuart Lawrence approached us and offered their expertise in design and programming to create a new site for us. We are delighted with the outcome, which not only looks attractive, but is informative and easy to navigate.''

''Our primary objective is to inform everyone in the city that they are welcome to use and be part of this state-of-the-art facility, which in less than 12 months will be the stage for a multi-national sporting occasion, and we feel this has been achieved with our new site.''

Paul Hill, E-commerce director at Stuart Lawrence commented: ''We are very proud to be associated with such a high profile landmark in the north west, which will help to showcase Manchester's capabilities to a worldwide audience.''
