Wolfgang Radio

WOLFGANG Radio are a morally conscious band from Rochdale.
Influenced by socialist writers George Orwell and Tony Benn, taking inspiration from the British working class; Wolfgang Radio have produced a sound that they describe as emotive, intense, colourful, adrenaline driven, face melting, sombre and beautiful.
Band members include: Philip James Parfitt, guitar and vocals; Matthew Bosson, guitar and backing vocals, Joe Perry, drums; and Ben Allison, bass.
Born out of confusion Wolfgang Radio’s biggest gig to date has been at the infamous Liverpool Cavern, but the band are prepared to play anywhere people will listen.
Currently gigging around Manchester Wolfgang Radio are hoping to take their sound further afield and possibly form a collaboration with Super Furry Animals’ lead singer Gruff Rhys and alternate Icelandic pop princess Bjork.
