The Buzzaldrins

THE Buzzaldrins are a maverick band who remain a mystery even to themselves and are still yet to play their first gig.
They describe their sound as folk-funk and have taken their influences from all around the world.
But don't take our word for it - here's what they say about themselves ...
"WE'RE a new Rock/Pop art band and take our inspiration from The Velvet Underground, Nick Drake and Pink Floyd with Jazz and Folk elements. We've got four band members, Christian James (vocals & Guitar), Elizabeth Cook (Keyboards, Melodica, Vibraphone), John Wilkes (Lead Guitar) and Matt Hughes (Bass/Beats).
We formed in 2007 and have been featured artists on XFM Music response by Clint Boon, played on BBC Northern Uproar and BBC Radio Bristrol and played our first gig on Lets Go Global (Manchester arts based internet tv channel) who screened performances on the BBC Big Screen at Manchester Exchange square.
We've had our animation videos broadcast on the Virgin Channel. We've also had a good review at God is in the TV Zine

We've also had our tune Reprise favourited by an a&r scout at Columbia records on Vox demo submissions
