COMMUNITY Noticeboard is our service to all societies, associations and church groups in the area ... here's what's going on in the Littleborough area.

Aerobics: Tuesdays at Wardle and Smallbridge Community Centre, Wardle Road (7-8pm), Wednesdays at Littleborough Community Campus (7-8pm). Contact Sam (tel: 07773 552976).

Coach House, Littleborough: American Line Dancing every Friday (8-10pm).

50-Plus Keep Fit: St Mary's Parish Centre, Featherstall Road, Littleborough, Mondays 1.30-3.30pm. £2. Contact Beryl (tel: 526447).

Hollingworth Wine Society: Tutored tastings, bi-monthly on Mondays, Fishermans Inn, Hollingworth Lake. Contact secretary P Lord 374765.

Littleborough Aces Tennis Club: Junior indoor tennis coaching and fun sessions each Monday term time, ages three to 10 years, all equipment provided £2 sports hall, Littleborough Community Campus, Calderbrook Road.

Littleborough and Milnrow Over-50s Walking Group (Age Concern): Every Wednesday (1pm). Contact B Hurst 379483.

Littleborough and District Lions' Club: Meets at the Conservative Club, Peel Street Littleborough at 7.45 pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays each month. The contact is Steve Lister 01706 373371

Littleborough ARLFC Juniors: Rugby League training every Saturday (under 9's, 10's, 12's) at Littleborough Community School Field (10am-11.30am). Meet club house, Littleborough Cricket Club, Denhurst Road. Contact Carole Lockett (tel: 378348).

Littleborough Conservative Club, Peel Street: 50/50 dancing every Wednesday and Saturday - bingo and open the box (8.30pm). Function room for hire. Members and non-members welcome. Contact 378413.

Littleborough Hockey Club: Trains at Balderstone AstroTurf every Tuesday (6.30pm) with matches at weekend. New members welcome.

Littleborough Old People's Welfare Association: Meets Tuesday to Fridays 38 Victoria Street, Littleborough, 10am - 12noon and 2pm-4pm. Light refreshments at basic prices for over-60s. Luncheon Club Tuesdays and Thursdays (noon) - booking essential.

Littleborough Park Bowling Pavilion: Whist drive each Wednesday, everyone welcome.

Littleborough Pensioners' Association: Meetings second Wednesday monthly, the Heritage Centre, Coach House, Littleborough (1.30pm). Lift for disabled, meals provided £1 a head (please order before meeting). Contact Mrs Anneliese Fellingham 379762.

Littleborough Public Brass Band: Band practice, new players welcome, Thursday 8 to 9.30pm, Band Room, Hartley Street, Littleborough.

Littleborough Sports Centre, Littleborough Community Centre, Calderbrook Road: Boxercise class, Wednesdays 8.15pm to 9.15pm, and Saturdays 4.45pm to 5.45pm; Tae Kwon Do, Tuesday and Wednesday evening 7pm to 8pm and Saturday 3.30pm to 4.30pm. Littleborough Townswomen's Guild: Weekly meetings Littleborough Coach House, Wednesdays (7.30pm).

Littleborough United Reformed Church, Victoria Street, Littleborough: Service each Sunday at 10.30am with Holy Communion on third Sunday of the month. Bible study meetings fortnightly on Tuesdays 7.15pm. Everyone welcome. Contact Eric Turner (tel: 377017).
